The Jungle Scout Chrome Extension is a browser that you have to install on Google Chrome or the browser of your choice.

The Chrome Extension comes with Jungle Scout’s subscription plan, and it is a separate software that you can install on your web browser instead of accessing through jungle scout’s site. However, for proper product research, the Chrome Extension alone is not enough for you.

With the Jungle Scout Chrome Extension, you will easily be able to pull up data from any Amazon listing or search result page. After subscribing install the chrome extension in your browser and click on the chrome extension icon while you are browsing Amazon search listing.

From here the Chrome Extension will display the average monthly sales, sales rank, reviews, revenue, rating, and more.

There is a lot of information that Amazon shows us but also extra information Jungle Scout provides us:

This is JS pretty much doing my job. It will straight away tell me whether the product is good or bad with the high or low demand. However, I still like to check this by myself with the following steps:

Right now, I can see how many sales and revenue the first page is doing is the most important information for me

I glance over the amount of reviews and ratings they have after determining that the niche has enough volume.

• Monthly sales:

By clicking on the sales numbers. Another window pop-up that shows the monthly sales. And I would be able to know that if it is a trendy product.

Now if we have established a high volume, low competition product, then we want to check the profitability. So, after a quick look, I can check at the fees and net pay-out that I can sell the product with a nice profit or not.

 You would still have to find through 26 pages to check which of these products are good or not.

Sales Analytics

It is your job to keep an eye on sales once you have started selling products.

A very basic business dashboard is offered by Amazon. The biggest disadvantage of the Amazon dashboard is that you are not able to enter your product cost. So, by this, you will never be able to see your profit in their dashboard.

So which tool wins it for me? Well, I am on the fence for this one as both have their strong points. But ultimately, it boils down to the monthly subscription prices. If you are on a budget, Jungle Scout has your back and it can meet your basic business needs.

If you got a strong financial backing and would like the added bells and whistles to stay ahead of the competition, then Helium 10 would be an excellent choice moving forward.

• Great support and free resources are also necessary.
• They will offer all the extra tools you need to run an Amazon Business.

Things I Don’t Like About it                                                                           

• The chrome extension is not that accurate on low volume products.
• There’s no way to find the sales data on variations yet.
